My dear papa
Did I ever tell you
How much I love you
For you are the one
Who I feel love me the most

My dear papa
Did I ever tell you
How much I need you
For you are the silver lining
When I am surrounded with grey clouds

All those heroic qualities
I clearly see in you

You taught me my worth
Strengthened my dignity
Made me believe-
My opinions matter too

When life gives a shock
And make me fall

When the dark enwreathes
And pull me down

My dear papa
I battle with the mettle
Stand erect and spark
Just because of you.
